Activities / Resume

PhD student in CIFRE, I have been working since October 2019 jointly with the Laboratory of Biometry and Evolutionary Biology (University of Lyon 1) and the company IZINOVATION.

I completed a degree in Biology of Organisms in Dijon, before doing my research master's degree in Dynamic and Biodiversity Modelling in Grenoble. Interested by the impact of xenobiotics on living beings, I successively completed my Master 1 and 2 internships at LECA Grenoble, as part of a team working on insecticide resistance mutations in the tropical mosquito Aedes aegypti. After acquiring breeding and molecular biology techniques, I moved on whole genomes analysis in order to find more detailed answers to my questions. This PhD's goal is to apply and deepen these skills on bedbugs,Cimex lectularius, in order to determine the nature, diversity and distribution of insecticide resistance mutations, and thus to facilitate the control of this parasite by adapting to targeted populations. To carry out this project, I have the chance to be supervised by Messrs. Julien Varaldi & Fabrice Vavre (LBBE), and Romain Lasseur (IZINOVATION).
